The California Medical Association in recognition of Dr. Bruce P. Hector's superior knowledge and skills in the use of the American Medical Association Guidelines to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment 5th Edition recently asked Dr. Hector to act as liaison to the California Senate Committee on Health and Safety in Workers' Compensation. Dr. Hector and other physicians at Parthenia Medical Group have been using and teaching the AMA Guidelines, Editions 2 through the current Edition 5, for more than a decade and are expert in there use and application. In recognition of his skill CMA asked Dr. Hector to testify before the California Senate Committee on Health and Safety in Workers' Compensation on the use and complexity of the AMA 5th and the impact it will have on physician evaluations and assignment of impairment.
