A Perspective on Systemic Disease in the Framework of the American Medical Association Guidelines to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment 5th Edition
Ajit S. Arora, M.D., PhD will present training regarding the AMA Guides 5th Edition and how the Guides look at Systemic Disease differently then in the treating environment. The reason for these differences is because the central thought of the Guides is the impairing effect of the disease on functional capacity. This commonly leads to misinterpretation and misrepresentation. Dr. Arora will discuss protocols to use to interpret symptoms and disease consistent with the AMA Guides recommendations.
